Superbowl!

Hey guys! So I think I finally figured out how to invite people to my blog! Now that everyone can see it, I guess I'll have to post things differently. I invited so far 16 families to my blog, so there are a lot of people who are going to be reading it. Well, yesterday when I got off of school, I went home. I know, bug surprises right? Then, I took a shower - which is always a good thing. Then I got in the car and went to church. Yes, this was Friday, but I will tell you why I was at church in a mminute. Ok, so, our youth group has this yearly thing where teens from like, all over the state I guess, go to Liberty and stay up all night long doing games. It's a Christian outreach, so many people brought friends with them. Ok, so, here I am in the car, driving to church thinking how in the world am I gonna stay up so long? See, I'd been up like every night that week til at least 12:00 about, and then getting up at 6:30, so I was stinkin tired if ya know what I mean. So, then, I was practically fallin asleep. So finally we get there, and Mom is a leader for one of the buses, so she worked check-in. So I invited three friends, but one couldn't come at last minute. (Actually I invited like, five people, but one definately couldn't come, one was sort of last minute, and the other was the day of.) ok anyways, so I go outside in the freezing cold to wait for them. Ok so here I am shivering, and my friends from church start showing up (we had gotten there early), and so they walk in and check in, then they would come outside and wait with me. So then one of my school friends gets there, and I walk her in to get checked in. Then we go back outside to wait for my other friend, who gets there finally, and then we all go in. So now as we're warming up, I realise that my friend from church is not on my bus, but my school friends are, so we get separated. So first we go to the Layahe center, and we watch an LU vs VT hockey game, which by the way, LU CREAMED VT, even though I really like both teams. So that went on for what seemed like forever. Then the bus took us to a rally where we got pizza, and they gave a salvation message, and SO many people made decisions. It was so cool. So then after the rally one of my friends had to leave, so this was around like I would say abou 11:15 pm. So we're not that tired I guess. Then we go to the Lahaye center again and go ice skating. That was so much fun. I'd gone twice before, and my friends had done it before so we were flying. It was so fun. I didn't fall until the last five minutes. (Oh and by the way, when they turn out the lights and light the disco ball, it's really hard to focus on where you're going cuz the lights mesmorize you) ok back to falling. So I was going really fast and here I am thinking that I'm invinsible, and that no one can knock me down, and I lose my ballance and topple. The only thing was that I landed with my skate blade on my thumb, which sliced it, and then my knee bone hit the ground, and I have a horrible knot in it now. So I get up in pain, and tell myself to man up, and then I keep going. Well, not too long after that, I get goin fast again, and trip. This time my other knee slams against the ice, leaving me with throbbing pain. At that point I could hardly stand on it, so I get up and take my skates off. It felt better almost immediately. The funny thing is that I can't even feel the one that was more painful today, but the one that wasn't that bad it hurting like crazy. So yeah. Ok, so then we went bowling, and that was a lot of fun. (Oh yeah, in case you didn't know, I wear a size 12 shoe in women's, so when we went ice skating, bowling, and later on to funquest for roller skating, I got some weird looks from the staff.) Ok, so once I got my bowling shoes I went bowling! Of course lol. Ok, so then after bowling we went roller skating. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you that my friend from church, Bethie, Actually her name is Elizabeth, but no one calls her that. They call her Beth. But then I started calling her Bethie, and then we realised that my middle name is Elizabeth, so she started calling me Bethie 2 so we were Bethie one and Bethie two. Ok so Bethie one wears a size 9, and so for some strange reason we were looking at our shoes and we realized that they were the same size. So we swapped our left shoes. So whenever we went to a place that needed our shoes for their shoes, they were like, what's up with the two different shoes? Ok, so back to the roller skating. So Bethie one got there like ten minutes after us, so me and my other friend, Virginia who is obsessed with eyeballs and cupcakes, were getting our roller blades on, and I had to change sizes like twenty times (exaggerated) and so it took forever. So finally we get them all on, and we go skating. So after about two seconds, Bethie one and I decide that we don't like our skates. I had roller blades, and she had skates. So we switch, not remembering that our shoes were now in the other person's skate cubby, and remember our shoes were already mixed up. Ok, so then, we decided that we liked our skates, except that Bethie one didn't like mine cuz they were too big, so we went over to the counter and the guy got her a smaller pair, but in doing that, he technically put MY shoes in the new cubby because they were mixed up badly, remember, so then, we finally got onto the skating floor. So now I realized that the skates were weird cuz like, I had to keep picking up my feet or else I would crash. So we're like wobbling all over the place, and then they turn out the lights and put out the disco ball, which was like not a good thing, but we kept our balance sort of. So then eventually we got used to it and we're like flyin all over the place. So then we went to get laser tag tickets and found out that they were gone, and so we skated the rest of the time which practically broke our feet. So as we're flying around the corners, we realized that if we ran into a wall, we would fly over it, so we did that over and over and hurt ourselves a lot. We got over it though, even though it was quite fun and painful. :-) Ok so then it was about 5:30 am, and we're pumped.. I mean we're so hyper, it was out of control. But of course our feet were in pain, so we took off our skates. The moment we took them off, we were about to fall asleep. We were so tired. So we limp over to our group and go home. Yep, that's the end of my story. So as I was typing this, I remembered some things that I did or saw that I forgot to tell you about. So here they are. Starting with the hockey game. We totally got bored, so we went out in the lobby and did gymnastics. We were making pyramids and everything. Everyone kept standing on my knees. The second thing has to do with the rally. After the rally and after they gave away prizes (which included a nintendo Wii, and a nintendo DS), they started setting up all of these games. They had basketball, volleyball, and they these big blow up things. One was like a jungle gym, amd I raced my friends. Mom actually went on it, too! Go Mom! :-) Then there was this blow up this with these stools that you stood on and then someone right across from you was like that too, and they gave you these cylinder type things, and you would fight with them and try and knock them off of the stool. I fought mom! I won! I won all of the ones I played. Ok then the last thing I wanted to tell you about was at the Lahaye center during ice skating. Some girl got her thumb ran over my someone else's skate, and it sliced through her nail. It was bleeding like really bad. So my mom having the occupation that she does, she ran and got a paper towel and ice and told her to put pressure on it. My mom rocks. Ok so I think that was all I wanted to tell you, believe it or not lol. Ok, so now, I'm gonna go and make rosettes, which are basically blobs of fat dibbed in liquid fat, then drenched in powdered sugar! lol I think we might decorate our tree tonight. It's been up a while, but it's not decorated. It just has lights. Ok, well, I'm gonna go now, so I'll see ya later guys! :-p
